Responsible for the day-to-day operations of a dedicated sales support team. Manages escalated issues. Approves special price concessions. Makes hiring decisions and conducts performance appraisals. Coordinates staffing aligned to regional needs and daily work objectives based on business needs. This manager would be supporting the solution sales associates for the HPE VRS, CommVault and NetApp VRS vendor lines.
Enhances regional performance by providing sales quotes for partners to meet goal attainment. Owns processing for personnel changes, hiring, work station movement. Leads team by education and gaining buy in to achieve current initiatives. Conducts continual follow up with customers to maintain relationships and ensure service levels are meeting expectations. Develops key contacts within Tech Data as well as Vendor Partners. Provides direction to team members; promotes proactive quote management; provides guidance for customer issue resolution. Reviews processes used to ensure best proficient practice. Develops team members through on-going coaching and monthly 1:1 meetings reviewing skills development and/or performance strategic sales initiatives. Represents Director or VP in Sales Executive meetings.*Performs additional duties as assigned *Meets attendance and punctuality standards
