  • Overview

    As part of the Finance Executive team this position will lead the development and implementation of the Finance Transformation Strategy deployment and execution capability for Tech Data through partnering closely with the direct staff of CFO  and other senior leaders across the business. This position will be responsible for driving recommendations that result in action and change.  In addition, this position is responsible for analysis of the Finance Organization's strategic plan(s) to ensure the continued successful deployment and execution.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

    • Strategy Alignment - Work in parnership with the CFO to lead the  alignment cross-functionally around a common vision and road map for the deployment, implemention and sustainment of the Finance Transformation Strategy, including frameworks and processes for deployment of strategy for the enterprise and business units (30%)
    • Strategy Execution - Works with Finance Leadership Team to identify key change initiatives and develop project and program resourcing strategies to ensure optimum support for projects and for the day-to-day operational activities. Develops charters for all initiatives associated with the Finance Transformation Strategy, Establishes and implements metrics that measure project performance, Monitors project health by measuring the variance in scope, schedule, cost and quality from the respective baselines.  (40%)
    • Stakeholder Engagement - Works closely with communications, stakeholders , and management to stay informed of important company information to evaluate and measure program effectiveness and impact on the business, Manages dependencies across programs within the portfolio and with other portfolios, Manages stakeholder communication regarding release plans and release deliveries for the portfolio, Ensures regular, active communication globally with adjacent portfolios and external stakeholders. (10%)
    • Communications and Management System -Responsible for project planning and scheduling, including the timing and resources required to deliver upon key milestones / deliverables and the implications from key interdependencies. Responsible for driving execution to Finance Management System including setting up meetings, reording actions and deliverables and providing communications support,  Identifies program impediments and guides proper escalation to individuals/groups as needed. (20%)

    Experience:

    • 8 to 10 Years of relevant work experience.
    • 3 to 5 Years of experience directly managing / supervising employees. 

    Education & Certifications:

    • Master's / Postgraduate Degree with Finance Field of Study preferred.
    • Bachelor's Degree with Finance field of study required.

    Working Conditions:

    • Consistent non-standard work or overtime as business requires.
    • May be located at the Clearwater corporate office or at the reseller location.
    • On-call availability required as necessary.
    • Professional, office environment.
    • Some travel required.
